Charming boutique hotel

This boutique hotel has European charm, right on the grand canal in a great location for walking to St. Marks Square, Rialto Bridge, many restaurants, and shops. It is in a quiet area where the water taxi's are easily accessible right in front of the hotel. The staff is so nice and accommodating. The breakfast is delicious with an option to sit indoors or in the garden....

Perfect location, below usual SLH / Hilton standards in Europe.

I don't understand the buzz from several american visitors.
The hotel is officially rated as 4* Superior. And it's not more than this.
Location is 5*, service varies between 3* and 5*. Rooms also vary regarding details (if you apply a european view) : rusty door hinges, mold within the windows etc.
And the breakfast (again mostly praised by american visitors) is only european standard, certainly underwhelming compare...

Sina Palazzo SantAngelo was an excellent choice for first-time visitors like us. The location is ideal close to major attractions such as St. Mark's Square, Gallerie dell'Accademia, and the Peggy Guggenheim Collection either by a relatively short walk or a quick vaporetto ride if youre tired. There are also many good restaurants within a 1015 minute walk.

My wife, teenage children, and I just returned from attending a family wedding in Venice, where we stayed 7 nights at Sina Palazzo Sant'Angelo. We cannot say enough good things about this hotel. First and foremost, everyone on the staff was amazing!
