Historic Luxor
If Nile river cruises and the pyramids are more your cuppa, holiday in Luxor. The iconic river runs right by the city, along with a café-stocked prom. The Temple of Karnak is another must-see, having racked up over 1,300 years on the planet. Alternatively, hop on a day trip to chaotic Cairo — via the Giza pyramids, of course.
