Best time to go to Romania

Temperatures in Romania tip the 20°C mark during its peak summer months. At the other end of the scale, the mercury often dips below freezing during winter, with most of its countryside getting a decent coating of snow from December through to February. For the best weather, head south to the Black Sea Coast, where the temperatures are generally toastiest.
