Travel Tuesday is the Tuesday after the Thanksgiving weekend in the USA, and follows on from Cyber Monday. It’s an annual event to encourage people to find discounts on experiences rather than material things. Think Black Friday, but only for the travel industry. Holiday companies and airlines offer discounts on their products, so it’s a great chance to lock in a deal.

Travel Tuesday falls on the 2nd of December in 2025.

Travel Tuesday can be better than Black Friday or Cyber Monday for holiday deals, as only companies in the travel industry take part. A lot of airlines and holiday providers will offer Black Friday discounts, too, but they might increase their offer or put on a unique discount just for Travel Tuesday.
