It's beach, beach, beach on Plimmiri holidays. Luckily, it's a pretty-and-peaceful slice with a seafood restaurant that swings open its doors for summer.
Textbook traditional
Plimmiri is one of those rare under-the-radar gems. And so far, so good. It’s only attracted the attention of one hotel. And who can blame them? This place has a bonus-ball beach, which is half sand, half pebble. It’s joined by a Greek taverna that plates up fresh fish on blue-and-white tablecloths.
Quiet zone
The beach here couldn’t get crowded, even if it tried. That’s because it’s a whopper – if you got your tape measure out, it would come in at a massive four kilometres. Next door, you’ve got another beach that’s just as big and completely hotel-free. Or you can hop in the car to Prasonisi Beach – a stretch with a watersports-ready windy side and a calm coast.
