Agnadi Studios

I must admit I was worried when the wife booked this one. Normally we go for large, all inclusive resorts with multiple pools and restaurants, kids clubs, full programme of nightly entertainment etc. However from the moment we arrived we felt like family, Andreas & Berta helped us settle in and addressed us and the kids by our names immediately. Its a small intermit hotel with everybody knowing each other within days, the kids made friends immediately and all in all very welcoming. The food, especially Berta's Prawn Sagnagki was to die for as was Andreas Pina Colada. Now the views from this hotel are amazing, I could sit there for hours just taking it all in. The hill is the trade off, however its not too bad and we always got a 10 Euro taxi back from town in the evening but always ensured we got the water taxi into Skiathos, about a 10 minute boat ride. Would also add I've been to most Greek Islands but Skiathos is in a different league, in fact the harbour front is more like Marbella than Greece, very classy. Both our kids had the holiday blues after returning which I've never seen before, despite doing Florida and the parks last year. Would I recommend ? Highly

We stayed for a week during August 2ad 2ch had 2 studio rooms on bottom floor - was bit disappointed at first as wanted the top floor purely for the amazing views but glad we weren’t in the end due to the sure ease of being right by the pool! Studios are very clean and maid service virtually daily- cooking rings/ kettle/ fridge all good -basic and what you would expect. Beds were a bit too low for me so never really had a good nights sleep- didn’t pay for air con as at €50 per week per room was a bit steep-studios were not too hot either so wasn’t a problem. Pool is lovely with plenty of beds available at any time. Views are spectacular as being up a steep hill - glad we hired a car as wouldn’t fancy the walk up there! Bar and snack bar offers good selection Andreas is a lovely man and nothing is too much trouble. Would definitely recommend and visit again. If you book through booking.com it also comes under the name Azurro which is the Scandinavian part and rooms look so much nicer!!

This is the second time I've stayed at Agnadi with my son (11). As it says in all the other reviews, the staff are just lovely, so hardworking and so helpful. The views are breathtaking, the pool is perfect for kids. The walk up has never bothered us - just a bit of exercise in a sea of relaxation! Just a few things to keep in mind: The first and second floor rooms are certainly better but although you can request one you can't actually book it so there's no guarantee. If you book a family room though they are all on the top floor with amazing views The food is great during the day but not so good in the evening if you're looking for variety and good Greek cooking. On the second point, there is a wonderful restaurant at the beach with amazing food so don't let this worry you! Finally - I've been to Greece around 25 times and these are the most comfortable e beds we've ever had. Better than some of the fancy hotels we stayed at Final point - the rooms are kept A1 spotless. New sheets and towels and cleaned most days. The cleaners work their socks off and we send them a big thank you for keeping our room so lovely!
