They were extremely unwilling to help in the time crunch of departure. Namely, we were late for the transfer and asked for breakfast 20 minutes earlier (only for 3 fried eggs, nothing else - breakfast was already paid with the room). Arrived at the hotel which located near to st Margarets bridge on the Pest side. Staff were welcoming, room is basic, could have been cleaner with some attention to detail. Room ok, we were on the water side with view of the island, downside to this is you have all the party boats stopping alongside and they can see straight in! The only reason I did not give this hotel outstanding is because there was not a bar or restaurant as advertised.
Our room was tiny but cost and staff were pleasant. It was let down by lack of facilities, no restaurant (despite there being breakfast buffet every day) bar or tea/coffee in our room...

Great value and a great location

This may not be the most luxurious hotel in Budapest but we had a brilliant time there and it was a perfect base for exploring the Danube part of the city.
The location by Margaret's Island and Margaret's bridge where you can catch the trams and buses etc was pretty central for us and from what we heard from a fellow guest is quieter than staying in city area.
