Perfect Boat Hotel

My granddaughter (22yrs) and I stayed on the boat hotel with a river view overlooking Margaret Island and we found it just perfect. The room ( twin beds) was very roomy with plenty of storage space. During our recent girls' trip, we encountered several challenges at our hotel that I believe could be addressed to enhance the guest experience.

Budget hotel on the Danube, beds were ok we stayed in a two bed room, bathroom is tiny and we found hairs on the floor. No kettle and if you ask you only get a kettle so if you want tea or coffee bring your own, also brings cups as they had only 1 available! No fridge for milk or cold drinks!
It's a good budget hotel, didn't try breakfast so can't comment, although the smell woke us most mornings

A unique stay

This was a bit of a unique experience - the first time we have stopped on a boat hotel. Our private transfer from the airport had us there within about 35 minutes. Check in was quick and easy. Our room was upstairs - be warned, the steps up from reception are quite narrow and not ideal if you have any mobility issues.
We had plumped for the premium cabin at the end of the boat so had a bit more room then some rooms....

Stayed here 17th - 20th February 2025. Really enjoyed our stay, Room was as you'd expect on a boat, quite compact but the bed was big enough for the two of us and I'm a large gentleman. Equally the bathroom was compact but plenty of room to do what you have to do. We literally sleep & wash in our room on city breaks so it was perfect.
