A nice hotel with a historical twist, in a great location

This is a very interesting hotel, built within old ruins which are showcased. The breakfast buffet was amazing. The location is especially good, in Buda, and very close to the palace, a Christmas market, a grocery store, mass transit, and some souvenir shops. Lots of lounge area and a fitness room. We had to request room service which seemed to have been overlooked. The television required service also. Nice and qui...

Great place great location pity about the smell!

This is a lovely hotel in a great location. But the smell coming from the bathroom drains is unbearable. This isnt the first review to mention this. Keeping the bathroom doors closed doesnt really help. The smell is also in the hallway on the 3rd floor. I wouldnt recommend staying here because of the smell....

This is a great hotel all around but probably the best thing about it is the location right behind Fisherman's Bastion. If your room faces the river you will also see the parliament from your window. The buffet breakfast is expansive with lots of hot and cold choices and made to order eggs....

Excellent location and hotel. The hotel is in Buda next to St Matthias church.
We booked rooms with executive lounge access. Worth every penny. Between 4 and 6 you could take advantage of free drinks, bith alcoholic and soft. Hot and cold canapés. Bread. Soup. Pastries. Fruit. You could also have soft drinks during the day whenever you wanted.

We spent 6 nights at the Hilton in Budapest Thanksgiving week to visit the Christmas Markets & tour many of the cities attraction. We had a fantastic time, the Hilton is located on Buda Hill which is famous for the Buda Castle, Fishermans Bastion & Matthias Church.
