Booked family room, on arrival only 2 single beds, reception staff told me to pay £35 per person per night to have a room wich would sleep 3, love holidays who qe booked with not helpful , this is what we booked, a room for adults family of 3 so currently taking this up with live holidays also. Staff not helpful in such a stressful situation, we arrived at 9 pm , travelling all day , hungry and wet so was frustrating...

This hotel could be fantastic with some thought.
Pros
Fantastic location, walking distance to most of the Christmas markets, also the Rhine and the huge shopping centre.
Very big modern hotel with large rooms. ( I stayed in a twin room with a friend)
Best shower I have ever used in any of the many hotels I've stayed in.
Friendly helpful reception staff.

Be prepared to make your own bed. The room will not be serviced after your first night.

This is a 5 star hotel and it is very attractive and well appointed.
We paid for an upgrade on our room (60).
My reason for giving such a low rating is due to the fact that after being out all day after our first night we returned to our room. It had not been serviced. Bed unmade, teacups not replaced. I do not stay in a five star hotel to make my own bed.

A lovely hotel with great sized rooms. Our room had views of the Koln cathedral which was beautiful.
Quirky pieces of art in the reception were a nice touch h too. A restaurant on site where we ate once, the currywurst was lovely.
Nice bar with reasonable prices and plenty of seating.
Fantastic location too....

We had a really nice stay here recently, nice location big quiet room.
Unfortunately our room was a bit shabby and missing essentials, like a table in the seating area or chair to use the table, some of the furniture was torn and in need of replacement.
No coffee machine in the room, just a basic small kettle.
