Not the Customer Service hotel.

Family trip with 5 year old boy and wife. Firsty the car park prices. 27 euro a day. Rip off. The fridge in our room was not working. I informed reception straight away, they told me it did work, i just needed to wait. Next morning, still not working, told reception again. That night still not working, I called reception and they said it was broken. They didn't contact me to ask what I'd like to do! I had to chase t...

Not recommended. Rooms are so hot, staff wont let you adjust temperature. Staff at the breakfast restaurant very rude. TV channels are all in German, you can only find 1 channel from London.
This Hotel is not U.S. friendly....

Its a nice hotel, with clean room (but without any complimentary bottle water), fully equipped but some things need to be changed. For example, the food in the restaurant is poor, low quality and expensive. I ordered a club sandwich 17 and they brought me a small quarter toast with no French fries. Please see the picture below. A vview is located north of city, 20mns drie to the Elbe and fish market, not an issue considering the price difference and the quality of the venue.
It is a high rise tower of 18th floor, walking distance to Sbahn and with plenty street parking and their own underground parking with 2 e-chargers (7kW only) charge is included in the parking fee (27) at the time of our stay.

After staying at the Holiday Inn Hamburg City Nord for nearly two years, I can confidently say this hotel is far more than just a place to stayit has truly been a second home.
