They handle the Corona Situation more than perfect. The only negative Point is the pool could be a bit warmer. Apart from that everything was fine. All inclusive is a really fair all inclusive. Not just a few drinks from the menu, you can basically drink what you want and food is provided from 8 to 22. They really have a nice arrangement of buffets and the staff is serving from it. No storm to the buffet needed 😉. Thanks for an amazing week to all if the staff. Really well done.

We were here during Covid (08.08-18.08) despite this- everything was amazing! The hotel has really positive energy. From the beginning to check out was perfect. One of the girl from reception welcomed us ' You are in paradise'. We felt it ! We had a huge room with beautiful views and all facilities. Food excellent, service top, underground car park, staff nice helpful and always smiling ;) We were 10 days and we didn't want to come back at all. We love Greece, we love Euphoria Resort from the 1st moment. Memories will remain for many years. We are really appreciate for yours hospitality.

Check in Upon arrival you sit down outside in the shade and they provide a QR code that you scan with your mobile and begin the check-in process. Once completed you go to reception, have your temperature taken and they take you to your room, open the door and personally check everything is OK before leaving you to it. Your bags are brought along separately and within a few minutes making the whole process painless. Restaurants The main restaurant has both an indoor and an outdoor section, though they are currently urging everyone to eat outdoors if possible. They personally greet every guest at the door and ask you to use hand sanitiser before walking you to your table. All the food is served to you with the food remaining behind screens. The food is lovely and the selection changes each day. There is only one al a cart open at the moment and again they are trying to seat you outside. The food is nice and the service relaxed and even more personal. In both of the restaurants you can ask for a glass or bottle of wine and this includes prosecco! The pool bar includes a swim up section and there was never much of a wait for the drinks. If you walk back out of reception there is a little water park and souvlaki bar for great kebabs in a wrap. Grab one and go back to the snack bar in the main pool area so that you can add the chips! Staff All the staff use either face masks or visors at all times making you feel much safer. A special mention needs to be made to Anastasia who from the first day took an interest in making sure everything about our holiday was just right. From escorting us to our room on the first day to “bumping into us” several times during our holiday she made a special effort to ensure everything was just right. When she discovered it was our pearl wedding anniversary, she organised a heart shaped cake to be served to us on the night we attended the al a cart restaurant. At the end she spent some time asking us for our genuine no holds barred thoughts on the hotel. When we mentioned how friendly everyone was, she said that all the staff operated as a family and really tried to make everyone’s holiday special. This was certainly evident as all the staff smiled when you greeted them making eye contact. The Pools There are a few swim-up pools and one large central pool that is long and thin, with a gradually sloping “beach” for the kids at one end. Down at the other end near the sea is the quiet/adult area. There are plenty of sunbeds around, though those at the children’s end are packed quite close to each other. Around thereat of the pool though they are well spaced out with umbrellas permanently fixed into the ground, 1 per two beds. The pool water was always clean though for some reason the water at the children’s end was much warmer? The swim up pools around some of the rooms were also lovely and clean with the advantage of stepping out of your room and straight into the pool. We had a sea view swim up room and the view was exquisite every morning. By 09:30 10% of the sunbeds had gone, by 10:30 80% but please note they do not allow people to reserve sunbeds, but then there is no need! There are waiting staff coming round the sunbeds taking drinks orders all the time, great for when you are at a key point in your kindle. The rooms As the hotel is only 3 years old everything is in good condition and worked. The beds are super comfy though I did have to request extra pillows. The only complaint was a lack of draws to store your smalls etc. The bathroom had a “wet room” style shower that always had plenty of hot water even in the late afternoon when everyone is using them. The is only a small complimentary shower soap so remember to bring your own. The doors to the rooms are VERY heavy but if you push them all the way open, they click and stay open. The aircon worked well and as the temperature lowers it runs at so low a speed you cannot hear it. I did try having the doors open and the air con off, but the humidity was too high, it needed a ceiling fan. There are plenty of mains sockets for all of your electrical items, but no tea of coffee making facilities. Location The hotel is about 15 minutes’ walk from a small village and if you want to go to Chania where you flew in it is a 35 minute cab drive (€33 each way, ask for Mike). It is well worth the trip; we went for an evening, but I now wish we had gone for the day. The old town is the place to go to; imagine Brighton Lanes x 10. Really interesting. If you do go and want an evening meal your choice is to pick a restaurant on the harbour front or further back. We picked the harbour front for the ambiance, watching the sun go down and the lighthouse light up. However, the food was only “OK” and up to 50% more than one street back. Entertainment The evening entertainment was “OK” but nothing special, make sure to bring your back-gammon set. Day time entertainment was currently stopped. Beach The beach is mostly pebbles with sunbeds. To go for a swim you will need some sort of swim shoes. The water was mostly gently though there is a constant wind blowing up from the sea stopping you from sweating too much. Final Thoughts The hotel is relatively new and this shows in the lack of wear, everything seems new the staff and people of Crete are friendly and mostly speak English I would defiantly go again
