The Elba Lanzarote Royal Village Resort delivers on pools, restaurants and big suites. To top it all off, it’s just a 15-minute walk from the beach.
This place has a mini village set-up. The gardens are scattered with white domed buildings, cobbled streets and fountains. When you want to head out, you’re 10 minutes’ stroll from the beach and nearby Playa Blanca.
Suites come as standard here. As such, there’s loads of space – think walk-in, rainfall showers, separate living areas and big terraces.

super family holiday
we loved the Elba resort, rooms are quite big, comfortable super king size bed, large bathroom with drench shower, air con that worked perfectly. we were half board and the choice of food was good with different themes for evening meal. staff were friendly and helpful especially the guy at the poolside bar waiting at the tables (sorry I didn't get his name) plenty choice of pools plenty sunbeds even when it was busy, (still had people putting towels out though, hotels need to stop this) there are kids clubs and entertainment and adult activities and entertainment. few minutes walk to a lovely little beach and aqua park. My only criticism if at all, was that we had to open an account or use credit card rather than the bars take cash, also have to wear long trousers for the evening meal, luckily I had packed a pair.More
We've just returned from a 7 day break at the excellent Elba Royal Village Resort in Playa Blanca, Lanzarote. We travelled as a family with age range from 12 to 84 and the resort had something for everyone. We opted for the All Inclusive package via Jet2 Holidays which gave a great choice of food and drinks throughout our stay. The staff could not have been more attentive and friendly taking care of our every need. The pools and facilities were excellent and the accommodation was 1st class. We had adjoining suites which was great for our group which included teenagers and gran. The main beach area and shopping of Playa Blanca was short walk away or a very low cost taxi ride if walking isn't your thing. The resort is very safe, beaches are excellent, people are friendly. Highly recommend this accommodation and resort. More

Just returned from a fabulous stay at Elba. The hotel and accommodation chalets are excellent and we would happily visit again. So, if you are like me and are sceptical at first as to why you should pay that bit more to stay here compared to some of the other Lanzarote hotels, let me explain. We arrived late night to a hassle fee checkin. No queues or busy reception to have to deal with. The dining room had been kept open for us with a limited, but perfectly adequate selection of food. While we dined, our cases were taken to our chalet style room. Finding the room in the dark was easy as the complex is well sign posted. Our room, a Comfort Junior suite, was great. Super modern and clean. The kids beds had all been made up and comfy robes and slippers were waiting. The room was air conditioned, had plenty of light during the day but blacked out with blinds at night, had a big TV with a good selection of English channels, we had a fridge, daily bottled water, an illuminated wardrobe and a fancy coffee machine. During the day, we made good use of the pools which were clean with plenty of loungers. We stayed during October when temperatures still reached 30 degrees and found the hotel was not overcrowded so we had the waterslides to ourselves on most occasions. All the food was excellent, plenty of choice with new dishes appearing on most days. I read one review which complained about the breakfast but I asked myself what more could they do? Everything you could want was provided including a selection of freshly squeezed juices. Staff around the hotel were helpful, very polite and always made a kind fuss of our two children. Both the daytime and evening bar areas were good serving branded drinks from both and they were not shy with the measures. A sensible queuing system took place at busy times but we never had to wait an excessively long period to be served. One of my greatest likes of the Elba is the little touches that give a feeling of luxury. Cloth napkins and on the table in the evening, glass to drink from rather than plastic, staff who always acknowledge you, the option to use one of their other restaurants during your stay, adults only areas if you wanted them, everything clean, arcade machines discretely hidden away, no stalls selling stuff in the evenings, high quality furnishings, no uncleared tables etc. We walked into town on a couple of occasions with the young children and this was no trouble, with easy access to the beaches. One evening, we did come back in a cab to save some time which cost less than €5. Be warned, this was one of the few hotels we've stayed in that actually enforce the 'wearing of trousers' rule in the evenings, no shorts or flip flops at dinner time! This was probably one of the best all inclusive hotels we have stayed in and certainly met our expectations of. 4*+ resort. More
So disappointed :(
Here on our honeymoon and I’ve been in tears :( so disappointed! Promised special service due to it being our honeymoon and have had nothing. Hairdryer not working so waited an hour and a half for someone to change it. They came and changed it still broken, then phone in room is broken so couldn’t ring reception - tried mobiles and couldn’t get through either! Told receptionist and she said sorry for he inconvenience with a sarcastic comment of we do exist obviously when I said we couldn’t get through and sent me back to wait for the man still waiting now for issues to be resolved. Had phototshoot booked for 7 and will miss it as it’s 6.35pm and still not had shower or hair wash due to maintenance. Small problems but they do overlook the good. Wanting to go home already and only been here 48 hours. This cost us a little under £2000 for our special honeymoon which we never spend on holidays and we feel it’s wasted. More
We traveled 29th September to 6th October. I booked 3 weeks earlier, with the intention to upgrade room but none available. Room looked nice, then we noticed sheets on 1 bed were stained, quick phone call and they were replaced. Lovely bathroom with walk in shower, nice patio with 2 sunbeds and a sofa and chair, but room was far too small for 3 adults. There was only 6 clothes hangers in the wardrobe, just as well we took some with us. Food was typical of most Spanish hotels, some times great and some times very mediocre. We did enjoy our meal at the French a la carte. We were all inclusive and enjoyed Cruzcampo beer, smirnoff vodka, gordons gin, ameretto etc but if you didn't ask for branded spirits, you were given Spanish equivalents. Frederico, Patrick and all the animation team mixed well with everyone. We enjoyed water polo, volleyball, football, rifle shooting and other activities during the day. We watched the African acrobat dancers and flamenco show on 2 evenings and enjoyed them. There were plenty of sunbeds and no need to get up early to reserve them. The pools were refreshing, as the weather was fantastic all week. We used the courtesy bus once to go into town but it was less than 5 euros in a taxi. All staff on reception and restaurants were very polite and spoke very good English. When you changed your towels at the spa, you were always greeted by hola, buenos dias and a lovely smile by the girl on the desk. We were picked up outside hotel on a free bus to Rancho Texas and enjoyed our day. I would have given a 4 rating but for a few things. Firstly, long trousers for Evening meal, Ridiculous, 1 lad was wearing a dirty baggy pair of training bottoms, which he must have bought from the shops in town, because it's not what you would wear on holiday. He looked like a tramp but got into the restaurant for his meal! On the first 3 evenings, I saw at least 1 man wearing shorts, 1 sat at the next table to me in the French a la carte, don't know how they got in. The pools were cleaned every day but pool floor and bed area were only jet washed once, they looked awful and should be cleaned every day! The maid did a decent job of our room but once you opened the door, the small passage leading from the 4 rooms to poolside were left dirty and unwashed all week. ( This would have taken 1 minute with a mop). There was nothing nearby, you had at least a 20 minute walk to nearest supermarket. 1 thing that did impress me was that most of the staff worked very hard and are a credit to Elba hotels. Well done to them. We enjoyed our stay but will not return as we have stayed at cleaner and more modern 4 star hotels in Playa Blanca. More
