Arrived on Sunday evening to find that my email had been completely ignored. This is our 4th visit here but this time in celebration of my husband's retirement and 65th birthday. I had emailed ahead to ask if it was possible to have a pool view room as the last time we overlooked the car park! I received an email back within 24 hours to say that they could not reserve rooms ahead but would do their best to accommodate us. Sadly they didn't, even though the hotel is far from from full. I have not been impressed with the meals so far. Most of the food warm at best and the cooked meat seems really chewy. I like my food really hot so salads have been my choice but that gets a bit boring when we have another week and a half to go! Staff polite and friendly, particularly the young entertainment staff. Still have another 10 days to go so will review again when we leave. More
Appears to be run on the cheap
We read great reviews on this hotel but we were a little disappointed, mainly small details but important to us,e.g..i lost count of times I sat down to eat and found really dirty cutlery, really puts you off,and usually the plates were wet.Several times I told the bar staff to change my glass as I don't like drinking out of glasses with lipstick marks on them, and the patio door handle and wardrobe doors in our room were scruffy. As a vegetarian I thought the food was rubbish, and my wife as a meat eater thought it was all the same and very bland, lots of choice of the same things though. The staff throughout was excellent,no complaints with them at all,but they were all to busy, especially restaurant and bar staff and it took too long to be served,no waiter service at all in the bars.A couple of nights the entertainment was ok,just. The magic show and Il divo wasn't bad,the rest cheap rubbish. The public areas, lobby, pools, bars were classy but scratch the surface and the cheapness shows through, and to find that our bed sheets had holes in didn't help. All that is required to make this place great is a lot more care by a lot more additional staff,it is in a brilliant location and could be so much better.More

ITS LIKE MARMITE YOU WILL EITHER LOVE IT OR HATE IT WE LOVED IT.
Had a great week at the H10 Princess, good check in, our room was 2019, nice room cleaned daily, would have liked a lower floor but the hotel was full. First of all the food, we had five good meals out of seven, they still don't know how to cook chicken right, the two bits we had had blood on the bone, spare ribs were still raw. A lot of the food was only luke warm. We were AI & didn't like the way we had to stand in line with the half boarders waiting to go into dinner. All the staff very friendly. Could have done with some better shows. Outside pool area, no problem getting a sun bed as there are hundreds about, best spots always taken early. Still some sun beds reserved from two to six hours. Pool was freezing. There is also a heated indoors pool which was very nice. There could have been a bit more going on around the pool in the afternoon. There is a small snack bar near the main pool, coffee shop. Didn't like having to pay 1 euro to change one towel. The weather was superb. It is great if you want a slow pace holiday. Would we return may be.More
Our favourite Hotel in Playa Blanca
We have been staying in this Hotel for past 12 years at least 2 x a year. The Hotel has in proved over this period in many directions. The new coverd pool which is heated and the decking area is superb " we love it " on the negative side it took me 2 days to get soap in the mens toilets, also there is no where to dry your hands. Breakfast & Lunches are still great, but the evening meals have droped in in standard only one theme night in 7 x days. The new Dolca Vitaca Ristorante, in our opinion was poor with cold meals and tasteless food I only manage the soup the rest went back, we had a complementary ticket thank goodness. Would we stay again the answer is yes the positives out number the negatives. The staff man of the week was Vincent from Ecuador barman, and the ladies of the week goes to Morana customer sevice and Ludovica from the animation team look them up " they are delightfull staff " Best wishes to you all at the Lanzarote Princess * Eileen & Ken Lewis 3 Nov to 10 th Nov PS see next yearMore
Good, but falls short
Location excellent. Hotel overall very clean. Rooms excellent. Adult entertainment is very good. The staff were good, but not as attentive as other hotels we’ve visited. The buffet style dining room was quite chaotic at breakfast where we had difficulty finding tables. Lunch and the evening meals were calmer. The quality of food was good. On an eleven day break we found it a repetitive menu, no decent curries or chillis. We enjoyed our stay at this hotel, even with its shortfalls.More
