    ABOUT THE HOTEL

    • Official Rating: 5 Star Luxury

A fantastic portfolio of pools, bars and restaurants adds to this luxury hotel’s beach-side setting.

This luxurious hotel really takes care of guests – from the welcoming glass of cava to the turn-down service at night. It’s ideal for beach lovers, too, with a sandy stretch just outside.

There are three pools, plus a smaller number for children, and an adults-only Jacuzzi® . When it comes to food, five elegant à la cartes cover world cuisine, while a selection of bars serve mellow music.

There are three pools to choose from throughout the resort, so you can always find a quiet spot to relax and sunbath, read a book, or enjoy some energetic lengths. Surrounded by loungers and parasols and set within the palm-filled grounds, one of the pools is saltwater and there are two smaller children's pools too.

    • Yaiza international buffet restaurant*

This restaurant serves breakfast and dinner. There is show cooking where you can watch dishes being prepared right in front of your very eyes. Opening times may vary and you'll need to make a reservation.

    • Kikoland play area

Kikoland is a great place for children to have adventures, enjoy sports and play with new friends. With pools, tennis courts, games house and many more facilities, there is something for children of every age up to 16. However, children under 3 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Can’t really fault it . There was a lot of food choices & the sun loungers were of the best quality. Tip : you always can tell a good hotel by the quality of the sun loungers . Location was good . And the shows were good as well .
    Perfect as always

Just returned home from the most perfect 8 night holiday As always the hotel lived up to my expectations, beautifully clean. Friendly happy staff who alway smile and make time to speak when passing. The Christmas tree lighting ceremony was an unexpected treat and certainly had the wow factor. Already Looking forward to our next visit Thank you to all your staff for making our stay perfect.
    Very disappointing

This is worst 5*L hotel that I have ever stayed in. I tend not to post reviews on external sites as generally in this hotel category issues can and should be solved with management directly. However here Guest Relations claim that they can sort out any problems without actually solving very much hence here is the review. This should be an excellent property: location is great with direct sand beach access and Marina within easy walking distance; there are number of restaurants; large spa and very large kids facilities. I read some reviews about shabby rooms but where we are staying they are fine. However: -If you are coming with very small children then this hotel is noisy. We booked a junior suite and initially were allocated a room right above the main restaurant, with all the noise and smell that comes with it. I don't think you need to be particularly smart to work out that family coming with a small baby would like a quiet room. Then we moved to suite which is quieter except that hotel is not carpeted and has stone floors so any housekeeping that is going on next to you or above you - with unending furniture moving that cleaning seems to involve - creates a ton of noise. -The inability of 90% of staff to speak more than basic english is shocking. The room service doesn't understand the items on their own menu. Housekeeping doesn't speak english at at all. In buffet restaurants it takes 4-5 iterations of various staff to explain what "boiled milk for the baby" means and what "scrambled eggs with just milk butter and no salt" mean. Even some of Guest Relation staff do not speak more than basic English. -Away from not speaking english, housekeeping is of average quality. There are separate bath/shower/sink/toilet areas but one bar of soap? Again, it was clear I am coming with a small baby but there was no plastic cutlery or cups or bowls for my daughter. When i asked for them I was told i would be charged. Erm , why? Should I may be travel with my own to 5* property? There is no nappy bin like there is in every other hotel we normally stay in. You ask for towels to be changed only for some very bad tempered woman to turn up, dump half of the towels and flounce off without bringing the other half. -Food is inconsistent. Dinner is fine with good selection and good quality. Breakfast is poor: whilst selection is broad, most of the choice are not edible as it is overcooked. Quality of cold ham/cheese/smoked salmon is poor. Away from buffet restaurants we ate at Don Giovanni: first time it was good; second time service was VERY slow but i thought i would give it another try; 3rd time i think the chef must have been on strike as the quality of food was appalling. Restaurant manager only charged us for the drinks however i would much rather just have a good lunch with good service and pay more if i had to. Chiringuito has decent main courses but poor salads: they come covered in inedible dressing. -pool towels are disgusting: they lost their white colour very long time ago and now look grey and tattered. i am sure 5*L hotel can invest in some new towels. -children facilities are great but the staff supervising them are not so much. there are supposed to be age segregated areas however the staff does not enforce it unless you ask. the children are supposed to be supervised by their parents but again staff doesn't enforce it. so, when i was there with my 16month year old, the 0-2 yrs area was full of older children , we went to 2-4 area and some kid pushed down and run over my daughter. the response of the staff member was :"well what can i do, parents are supposed to supervise their children". -concierge service is poor. we asked for nearby restaurant recommendations and were advised to go to El Mirador. I would say that KFC is probably better. The choice and quality of dishes is very very average. Plus kids menu is a joke, nothing on it can be made without salt apparently which at 16 month old my daughter should not have. -the spa is good: it is large, clean, there is wide treatment menu, reception service is good and quality of therapists is great. its the best part of the hotel really. Frankly, the management here needs to be changed. I am not surprised there constant 25% off promotion. This is my first time in Lanzarote and as this seems to be the best hotel, it will be the last.
A wonderful week in a stylish elegant hotel

From the minute we arrived and were greeted by smiling friendly staff and a glass of bubbly we knew we were in a very special hotel, and we were not disappointed. Our suite in A block was very spacious and impressive, extremely well equipped and beautifully furnished. Sitting on our sunny balcony on arrival, overlooking the palm trees and blue sea was a perfect start to our holiday. The hotel is in a perfect position between Marina Rubicon and the older part of Playa Blanca, and it’s not too far to walk to both those areas along a pretty coastal promenade. The atmosphere in the hotel is one of elegance, style and luxury, aided by the beautiful decor, gentle background music, and small stylish touches which could almost go unnoticed, but which help the overall feeling of being somewhere very special. The breakfast buffet was excellent with a massive choice of hot and cold food - so hard not to overdo it! We particularly enjoyed the music in the lobby bar in the evenings - excellent musicians and a good range of instruments, which were perfect in enhancing the ambience of this beautiful hotel. We are already planning our next visit and can’t wait!
    Still excellent

I recently found a review of this hotel that I had done in 2010 and having stayed for 10 nights in November 2019 I am happy to say that it is still as good as then. Great room with excellent facilities, beach immediately outside the back door and just down from the hotel's pools, super breakfast buffet etc. Particular thanks to Paula and Elizabetta at reception who smilingly and quickly resolved a small issue for us. Thanks also to Diana at customer relations for her smiles and interest in us as customers and our needs. Not cheap but good value and a great spot for a holiday. Will return hopefully.
