Concorde Green Park Palace

Me and my husband have just returned from a 1 week holiday at Green Park Palace having arrived on 22nd November from Manchester, UK. We are a young married couple. Pros: - Hotel is lovely and clean - Majority of the staff are really friendly (Karim in the buffet is amazing!) - Beach is beautiful - Lots of variety in the food department - VERY relaxing at this time of year (if you are looking for a relaxing holiday) - Within walking distance of Port El Kantaoui marina to watch the boats - Taxi's wait outside the hotel - Security seemed good Cons: - Nothing whatsoever going off in the hotel at this time of year (day or night). No music around the pool in the day, no pool bar, no barbecue, no nightly shows. - We found the hotel boring. We aren't party animals but we expected a bit more going off. - Hotel and the airport was like a ghost town (We've never ever landed in a airport before and been the only plane in the entire airport. No planes even parked up. This was the same flying back to Manchester too) - Seemed to be really hard trying to get food outside of meal times to snack on. - Bar staff seemed really tight in regards to drinks. We asked for a bottle of coke to take to our room (as the only drink you got in your room on arrival was a bottle of water - and this wasn't even restocked & we was in a suite), and the bar staff didn't seem to like giving it to us, it was like doing a drug deal with a bottle of coke on the side! We was all inclusive so didn't understand this - other hotels we have been to previously don't have a problem with this. - If the weather isn't good - you are screwed unless you go out to explore. Overall, we did have a lovely time in Tunisia and we would go back if we got a good deal again, but we probably wouldn't visit at this time of year again, we would come in the summer. If you are looking to escape the UK for some winter sunshine and to relax this is deffo the hotel for you. Other reviews are saying this hotel is amazing etc, I wouldn't go that far. We have stayed in better hotels and had better holidays but it just depends what you like. Tunisia would be 100x better in the summer time.

We have just returned from a wonderful relaxing weeks holiday from Green park palace ..... from the first step in to the last step out of this fabulous hotel I can’t fault one thing ...... all the staff are so friendly and polite , the rooms are spotlessly clean , food was varied and cooked well fabulous quality, the red wine was too nice lol 😂 the white very easy to drink at lunch time .our stay was out of season and bebo dj d Jo did a great job entertaining as it is difficult when not many guests want to join in but they persisted Yoga was great thank you to Bebo getting us 50 yr olds doing a plank ! French boules, archery and water aerobics it was such fun. The beach is stunning the white soft sand and the beach is kept well raked and clean security man very happy and friendly too ! A big shout out now goes to three members of staff firstly Said from the evening bar he was outstanding and his continuous genuine happy kindhearted nature shone out from him remembering everyone’s drink and favourite snack , Bebo was also very thoughtful and had a lovely kindness around him too sitting with us and getting to know us while playing our chosen sports and activities and trying to teach me to dance 💃! Kareem from the restaurant, and the smiling chef !! Made our visits to the restaurant very pleasurable, such lovely staff throughout actually even though some other guests can be very rude and obnoxious together they provide a great service I will try and revisit in September 2020 😜😜😜😜 congratulations to you all and thank you once again
