Sol Kathmandu Park & Resort, Majorca

The kids are alright at Sol Katmandu Park & Resort, in Majorca. Location-wise, it’s a winner. The hotel’s just 45 minutes from the airport and a five-minute walk from the beach, which is easy even for the littlest of legs. Water babies will love the three pools, as well as the splash park that has water slides, jets and tipping buckets. But the biggest draw here has to be Katmandu Park itself. Stay at this hotel and you’ll get free daily entry to the interactive theme park that boasts a 4D cinema, a wild west laser-shoot ride and a 5D Haunted Adventure. There’s even a VIP section just for guests of the hotel.

Holiday Village Seaview Ibiza, Ibiza

The Holiday Village Seaview Ibiza (unsurprisingly, based in Ibiza) has kids’ clubs that are split into age groups and run by UK-trained staff, so your little ones can make new friends in fun and safe play areas. The hotel’s on-site waterpark has a Caribbean pirates play area and, like in every Holiday Village, there’s an Aerial Adventure course to take on. If you’ve got teens in tow, the club for 12 to 15-year-olds has everything from David Guetta-style DJ lessons to ‘Water Walkerz’ (AKA human hamster balls on water).

Aqua Fantasy Aquapark Hotel & Spa, Izmir

The Aqua Fantasy Aquapark Hotel & Spa, in Turkey’s Izmir,Izmir region, lines up unlimited access to multi-lane flumes, tube slides and a lazy river – and that’s just the start. There’s Treasure Island, an area for smaller kids, which has squeal-inducing jets and sprays. As for the hotel, it’s only a two-minute mosey from your very own private beach, complete with the all-important beach bar and loungers. Away from the water, there’s an American-style bowling alley, or for
a kids-only foam massage option in the spa – just like a traditional Turkish Hammam, but on a smaller scale. Treat your little ones like the kings and queens they are.
