Holidays to San Antonio Bay are full of options. You’ll find relaxed, family-friendly beaches and plenty of nightlife right on the doorstep – and Ibiza’s superclubs just a bus ride away.
On the west coast of Ibiza, San Antonio Bay is just 20 minutes from the capital’s old town and right next door to the liveliest resort on the island, San Antonio Town. It’s a laidback kind of place, with plenty of bars and restaurants to give it a night-time boost. And the sandy beach is the sweet spot for Ibiza’s legendary sunsets.
You’ve got 5 sandy beaches here, all linked by a shoreline path. You can walk them all in about 40 minutes, with a few beach-bar pitstops along the way. The sand gently shelves into the sea so it’s safe for kids, and the calm water’s a plus for watersports newbies. If you fancy seeing a few other beaches, a ferry from the harbour can get you to places like Cala Bassa and Cala Conta.
While San Antonio Town plays to the clubbers, San Antonio Bay’s all about the kids. Bouncy castles, mini-golf and play parks are all dotted around the place. Just beyond the resort you’ll find the only go-karting track on the west side of the island, with karts to suit all ages. A little way up the road, there’s the dinky little Cap Blanch aquarium.
