Holidays to San Antonio are, frankly, legendary. They're all about living it large with big-name DJs and massive nights out – all backdropped by the best sunsets in Ibiza.

Unbeatable club scene

Once a sleepy fishing village on Ibiza’s west coast, San Antonio has grown to become the second-biggest place on the island. It’s now an Ibizan institution, famed for its standout sunsets and thumping nightlife. There’s more to it than just clubs, though. You’ve also got a fountain-filled main square, a palm-lined promenade and masses of eating and drinking places.

Custom-built beach

San Antonio’s beach was literally made-to-measure. The dinky 500-metre patch was added in 2002 and it’s settled in nicely. You can, too, because it's a white-sand stretch with shallow kid-friendly waters. It’s a busy spot, so if you’re looking for something more mellow, hop on one of the regular ferries over to any of the quieter beaches nearby.

Legendary nightlife

There are two standout bits to San Antonio. The famous West End in the centre goes full throttle with over 100 bars, restaurants and discos. Over at Sunset Strip, meanwhile – about 10 minutes’ walk away – you’ll find the legendary Café del Mar, the island’s best-known chill-out bar. Serious clubbers have also got Es Paradis and Eden near the waterfront. Expect some of the best DJ sets in the Balearic Islands, and keep your eyes peeled for famous faces.

Close to Ibiza Town

In just 20 minutes' drive you could be in Ibiza Town. It’s a hotchpotch of designer shops and Gothic architecture. There’s also a peaceful park and plenty of lunch spots among the winding, cobbled streets. And if you’re staying on for the evening, head down to the marina for Champagne and seafood.
