View All DealsTingaki holidays do a solid job of sorting the sands. As well as a supersized beach, you've got traditional tavernas and a bird-stalked lake.
Tingaki is the kind of place that you up sticks to for some peace and quiet. It plates up sand like it’s going out of fashion – a long beach starts here and rolls half the way across the north coast of Kos. Plus, buses run like clockwork to nearby Kos Town.
Beach bums will be over the moon with Tingaki’s stretch. It’s a goliath-sized belt of creamy sand and shallow waters, with family-run bars and restaurants spreading along its bumper. You can hire pedalos and kayaks from makeshift watersports stations. And the further you get away from town, the tanners give way to sand dunes and friendly goats.
The restaurants and beach bars along Tingaki’s main street bash out authentic Greek cuisine at its best – mostly served meze-style. If you want to eat around the world, try Kos Town. It’s got a shedload of pubs, pizzerias and swanky seafood joints. And there are the bars and clubs to boot. If you’re there in the day, too, you can check out the Greek ruins and Medieval castle.
