Bailey Profile PictureHiking Rosette

@baileyturvey

Hi! I’m Bailey, a travel content creator. I’m originally from Brighton in the UK, but I currently work remotely from all over the world. I've been lucky enough to travel to over six continents and 60 countries, which has spurred on my love for travel even more. I love nature and adventure travel – hiking in particular – along with adrenaline activities like bungee jumping and skydiving.

I’m always keen to go back to the same countries but always new places within that country each time – I think rushing through destinations as a tick box exercise can ruin the experience. I get super excited for my trips, so I like to research things to do and the best places to stay. But, I also like the sense of spontaneousness of what locals might recommend when I’m there. I’d say for shorter trips, I like a day-to-day itinerary, but for my longer ones I wing it a bit and see who I meet along the way.

Sorrento, Italy

The Amalfi Coast has always been on the top of my bucket list and this summer, I luckily got to tick it off with a trip to the gorgeous town of Sorrento. After doing some research, I knew I wanted to head to the Sorrento side of the coast, as it’s got fewer crowds, and I’d only heard amazing things about the town itself. We were spending four days in Italy and I think we perfected the perfect itinerary for this one, so let me run you through exactly what we did…  Read Bailey’s full itinerary.

Rhodes, Greece

Think crystal-clear waters, idyllic sunsets, winding cobbled streets, and you’ll get an idea of what a trip to Rhodes entails. This stunning Greek Island has been on my bucket list for years and I was lucky enough to spend a long weekend exploring it this summer on an incredible trip with First Choice! If visiting a Greek Island has always been up there for you, then I couldn’t recommend Rhodes enough – it’s a picture-postcard-worthy destination. Ljubljana, Slovenia

I just spent 4 days exploring my 61st country, Slovenia, and it exceeded all my expectations – the country’s food, people and landscapes blew me away. We based ourselves in the capital of Ljubljana and spent our time exploring the capital, along with the country’s natural hotspots. If a trip to Slovenia has always been on your bucket list, then carry on reading this article, as I’m about to run you through our full itinerary. I know I’m biased, but I think we nailed it if you want to see Slovenia in a short time frame. Read Bailey’s full itinerary
