Bed was comfy and room was clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a good spread, not over the top but enough for breakfast. Wifi was good. Close to the train station. Supermarket close by if needing to shop for anything. Close to bars and red light area...

A quirky hotel in an excellent location for exploring Amsterdam.
Across the road from central station and around corner from Damrak.
Stayed in family room ( 3 adults) and had great sleep ( was at the back of hotel so didnt experience any street noise at all)

I know I probably shouldn't share this, but the A-Train in Amsterdam is the absolute greatest hotel to stay when you're there! It is in the best location for us as it's right across the street from Amsterdam Central and easy to walk to anywhere we like to go. The staff is excellent, always make you feel welcome and comfortable (Gina, Ehmid, Ali and all the staff), the room is just wonderful (very Dutch and charming...

We were skeptical about this hotel at first but knew it was a good location and price - turns out it was great. Such easy walking distance to the train station, and the street behind the hotel is a perfect sightseeing and shopping street tons of tourist shops and places to get food and a great grocery store.
