We have just got back from staying at the hotel.And let me start off the review by saying if we had of based our stay off of previous reviews read on trip advisor. This review could have been completely different.
But wow the hotel is a gem. Yes its away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre. But with the 26 tram right outside its not too far from the city.

Avoid unless you can't find somewhere else

The air conditioning didn't work. When we asked about it we were told you had to set the temperature and it would take a while to come down. It was at 25 and I set it to 18. When I came back a few hours later it was still at 25. Nuff said.
You could open the windows but there's a notice saying mosquito's will come in if you do as the hotel's on the water. Also, the road is very noisy so make sure you have good ear p...

The room was comfy and the beds were not too bad plus the tourist tax is reasonable as I thought it would be more considering it is Amsterdam. The breakfast that was provided was okay and filling enough until the next meal. Perhaps my fault but the hotel is located in an area which is mainly residential as the only restaurants we could find when we got there was a pizza place and a Japanese place a bit further out. T...

The views from our room was amazing and very quiet. Surrounded by nature, in the mornings you can see the birds just resting on the water (very soothing view). I love the view, I really enjoyed it. Although, the rooms was not sound proof, I can hear the cleaning staff when they were on the hallway and also the doors open and closes from the rooms next to us. The hotel itself is not that bad, large room, a nice view of the harbour (too bad about the ongoing construction site), and a pretty good breakfast. A bit far from the centre, but there's a direct tram taking you to Central Station in 20 minutes.
Unfortunately, they have the worst service I ever experienced.
