HOTEL STAFF STEALS AND LIES

DO NOT STAY HERE. My family was robbed by the hotel cleaning staff on the third of nine nights staying at their suite located in a very nice neighborhood. We filed a police report and suspiciously they say their cameras were stolen the day of the theft at 6:10pm. However, on the day of the theft I showed the police the functional cameras at 10:35pm when they arrived to take a statement and file a report. I would stay...

Excellent in every way. The suites are fully furnished, very comfortable and clean, with everything you need for a home away from home. The location couldn't be better, with an excellent bakery just around the corner and within easy walking distance of museums, restaurants, and shopping. We had a wonderful time at the Geizergracht apartment #2. Lots of space, excellent facilities and amenities, a very comfortable kingsize bed (hod did they get it into the apartment?) and a superb downtown (canal area) location, very close to lots of cafes and restaurants. And the cost of a 2-BR apartment very reasonable. Would definitely check for availability on a possible return visit to Amsterdam....

We rented the apt with laundry and kitchen on the rooftop level. It was a quiet street close to the Amstel River. We loved that it faced the canal. It was very disappointing and uncomfortable temperature wise as the windows only open a crack obstructing both our view and our comfort. The kitchen and living space are very comfortable and nicely appointed. Their comfort could be improved by allowing more windows to be open to allow for better air circulation and breezes during the hot days.
The bedrooms were a little cramped with only one, very small window with poor air circulation, and causing the rooms to be uncomfortably warm even with the fans provided....
