Centrally located hotel. Small well appointed rooms. Limited menu restaurant with high prices. Hotel entrance is narrow and difficult to navigate. There is an abundance of staff in smart uniforms lurking in the lobby-- seemingly with no purpose which reminded me of the footmen at Downton. The breakfast buffet is impressive!...

We just stayed 5 days in Amsterdam at this lovely hotel that exceeded our expectations! Firstly, the location was excellent for us because we wanted to be in the heart of the action on Dam Square. We stayed at the centrally located Anantara Grand Hotel Krasnapolsky on our 4 day visit to Amsterdam. The location is just perfect and everything is walking distance and even the central train station is a short walk from the hotel. I thoroughly enjoyed my time in Amsterdam and most importantly where I stayed. This was close to the train station, the facility was spotless and the staff were ready to assist in any way possible. I felt valued as a guest. I would love to stay there for a longer period. ...
