Lovely budget hotel

Although a little dated this hotel is in an excellent location - every where is within walking distance.
The rooms are clean and very comfortable. Reception and cleaning staff are very friendly and helpful.
Would definitely recomend this hotel....

The hotel is what it says , a 3 star hotel , as long as your expectations match this you will be ok .
The hotel was very clean, with my room serviced every day , breakfast was average but in a city with so many food choices it may pay to have breakfast out , the location is outstanding , close to central and an easy walking distance to many sites

We checked into this hotel as a family with young kids and the rooms were horrific. It was leaking, mould, dead bugs all over. We ended up switching rooms but the next one was much worse (loft room) was unsafe for small children.
On a positive note, the staff were friendly and did try to help but nothing they could really do when the only available rooms were dirty. The breakfast was also not great.

Nice enough hotel in central Amsterdam.
I stayed at the Avenue Hotel for a four-night stay, and it's pleasant enough. It's fairly good value for such a central hotel, only a 10 minute walk away from Centraal Station. The staff at check-in were friendly and courteous and tried to help where they could. I stayed in room 411, towards the top of the hotel, in a standard room. Well Located Hotel with small claustrophobic rooms

Extremely Well Located Hotel close to Dam square.
Rooms are extremely small, One has to climb to get on to bed.
Rooms are not well cleaned & are claustrophobic
Front Desk team not very co-operative
No place in room to put suitcase
Barely any sunlight...
