Our second visit here and this time stayed for 3 nights. Hotel is in a great location, near to the train station and a short walk to shops, bars & restaurants. Stayed in a double room which was spacious and very clean, bed was really comfy but the pillows on the small side and too thick. Asked at reception if they could change it and did so with no issues.

We had looked into the hotel from home at the website, and read all the good reviews, but arriving there gave us a fright. The pictures of the reception, the bar and so on, weren't as on the website. Self Check in was giving a hard time, a kind man helped us. We got room 318. We payed without seeing the room and went up with the elevator to 3 floor. The hallway meet us with the smell of weed. Great location next to zaandam station however felt more like a hostel than a hotel. Area round about it overgrown and felt unsafe walking back at night with people hanging about
Very basic hotel for the price we paid was not worth it.
Room was clean though luckily and nice staff member did show us a different room to see if we wanted to upgrade but for me it was the same standard of room just larger.

Just left the Best Western after a very pleasant few days, arrived late in the evening to discover its all self check in now, my pet hate. However Damien was on hand to help us get sorted. Clean, comfortable with a good buffet breakfast, they dont do meals anymore or bar service at night however there are vending machines. Our 2nd visit here, aside from the self checkin and out (which was easier) I would not hesita...

Very good option for visiting Amsterdam area

We stayed in the family room, which was very spacious and comfortable for four people. The hotel was clean and quiet, making it a pleasant place to return to after a day out. The location is excellent, with a train station right in front of the hotel it only takes about 15 minutes to reach Amsterdam Central Station, which was very convenient.
