There is always a sweet spot between value and service. The Crowne Plaza Amsterdam South hits that spot. Im a regular at IHG so the upgrade was very welcome. The welcome was warm and the service staff with whom we dealt, were excellent, particularly the gentleman on duty on the ninth floor on Saturday November 29/30!
The hotel is a short walk from Amsterdam Zuid Station and the Central Station short 12 minutes away....

Lovely hotel and helpful staff. Room clean and well appointed. Buffet breakfast offered a diverse selection and servers pleasant. Two restaurants and bars on premises. Well located close to the train/metro. A great experience!...

The location is ideal for the business district and only a short walk to the RAI conference centre, plus its not far from the airport.
What really makes this hotel, though, are the staff friendly, helpful, and genuinely nothing is too much trouble and that is a consistent experience from the front desk , bar, housekeeping and room service. They made the stay. I did have time to eat in both the manhattan bar and ...

Spacious, high ceilings good place to stay. The in hotel restaurant was about japanese food and the portions are small so you need to find some other place if you are hungry...

Very nice hotel with a great breakfast for the price. Location is in a business/residential area.
Not the best location for a pre cruise stay, but that was my mistake, not the hotels. It is too far from the airport and cruise ship pier....
