Nicely appointed room with plenty of space, great views, and quiet sleep. Staff are professional and accommodating. Easy access to the canal district, museum plein, central station, etc, via the metro, trams, or bikes, and seven minutes or so to the airport via train. Convenient location, spotless room, helpful staff

Hotel is very convenient to transport so you get very good value while being easily able to access the city center with frequent trains. Room was large, very clean w/ comfortable king bed, spacious bath, good view. Friendly and helpful front desk staff. Would definitely stay here again....

Don't book this hotel via IHG

I booked Crowne Plaza Amsterdam South via IHG for a family trip to visit the tulips in Spring. Rate was non-refundable, but stated that in case of cancellation they will charge the deposit only. Unfortunately due to the conflict in Iran we decided to avoid flying via Dubai and cancel the trip. I cancelled the hotel with 6 weeks notice. They charged me the cost of all 5 nights. Excellent for the business traveler. For my money, if you are working late in the area -- the breakfast and the Japanese restaurant at night (in the same space) -- do a better job in hotel than most budget business traveler hotels. Lovely quiet hotel, really well located a short walk (with a wheelie suitcase) from Amsterdam Zuid station. The station is only a quick, inexpensive, one stop train ride from Schipol (dont be tempted by an Uber or Bolt!). It is in the heart of the business district but well located for a trip into the centre and close to VU (university).
