Great hotel with excellent location near (but not too close) to Amsterdam's main train station. Stayed in room 339, large and comfortable, with wonderful views of the canals and bridge. For US travelers, this hotel is much nicer than most if not all DoubleTrees. The rooftop bar and restaurant is one of the hottest tickets in town with great craft cocktails and 360 views of the city. Great service. Hotel is beautiful.
We were able to leave our luggage the day we checked in.
The warm cookies at checked in was a very sweet welcome.
I will recommend this hotel and will definitely come back.
Just a very tiny negative side, I think you need more housekeeping staff as it took me to call twice for my request to be actioned, and this happened twice. This is not a complain, just fyi.

This is my 9th time in Amsterdam but my first stay at the DoubleTree. It was way better than I expected. The room size, the view, and the cleanliness were all excellent.
Like most hotels in Europe, the bathroom amenities were limited, even for a 4 or 5-star hotel.
Breakfast was great with lots of variety, and the staff were extremely friendly.
This will definitely be my go-to hotel in Amsterdam from now on...

Location is perfect and we did encounter some very helpful people upon our arrival . Dillon helped us and gave us some great recommendations.
We would be gone for most of the day and after returning our room had not been cleaned yet, happened 3 of the 5 days we were here and the last day we asked the front desk to have it cleaned when we got back from dinner we came back and they did come to clean but did not vac...

Decent hotel centrally located. Rooms are nice but lighting in the rooms are poor
Good breakfast selection but if not included in your rate it is very expensive
Dyian the concierge is brilliant, friendly and super helpful ....
