Poorly managed hotel with undisclosed charges and unacceptable staff conduct.

I booked this hotel via EasyJet Holidays and paid £853 for a prepaid single room.
At no point during the booking process was I informed that the hotel would require a 70 per night security deposit in addition to the tourist tax. The only additional charge disclosed was the tourist tax. The hotel did not contact me after booking to advise of this requirement.

This hotel is a scam!
They never warn guests about the security deposit they charge 70 per day, promise to return it within 35 days, and never return anything. This is pure fraud. For Europe, this level of service is absolutely unacceptable there is nothing worse than treating customers like this.
The staff is unprofessional, rude, and completely careless.
I would never recommend this place to anyone.!!!

Beautiful privately owned hotel in the middle of Amsterdam overlooking a canal. Close to shops, bars and restaurants. Excellent staff and clean and tidy rooms and facilities....

The location is great. The design of the hotel is gorgeous. Every corner of the ground floor is a treat for the eyes. Theres even complimentary coffee and biscuits in the small blue lounge just past reception.
Our room was beautiful and the bed was really comfortable. The view of the canal was a treat- especially when it snowed one morning. The bathroom and toiletries were classy - but towels a bit flat and disappo...
