We came for a 40th birthday and spent a lot of money on the holiday as the reviews we had seen made us feel it would be worth it, sadly it wasnt.
We are still here now but its not been an enjoyable stay. When we arrived we were out into a room with two single beds pushed together with 2 single duvets-when we are to change we were told we had to stay where we were but they would try and move us the next day-they se...

We really liked this hotel. It is very conveniently situated for Amsterdams attractions, either on foot or by the excellent public transport. We loved the decor and the overall atmosphere. The breakfast was great and set us up for the day. The staff were friendly and helpful and the two cats provided their own feline welcome!...

I chose this hotel based on its many glowing reviews, which made the experience all the more disappointing. While the hotel itself is undeniably beautiful and full of charm, the service fell far short of expectations.
Housekeeping, in particular, was lacking. Dirty towels were removed but not replaced, coffee pods were not refilled, and basic amenities like a shower cap and vanity kit were not replenished. These are...
