DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL BECAUSE ITS CLOSE TO WHERE YOULL BOARD A CRUISE SHIP. This hotel may be close geographically, but the hotel does NOT offer any kind of shuttle service. Instead, they work with a taxi company that rips off their customers. I was charged nearly $50.00 to be taken to the cruise ship thats less than two miles away. (I paid almost the same amount going from the airport TO this hotel!). I w...

Have wonderful time during my stay at Holiday Inn Express Amsterdam
The room is spacious and comfortable, and all the staff were very helpful. I definitely recommend and would love to stay there again....

Hotel is big and clean and all my interactions were pleasant with staff. Breakfast is very busy on weekends but weekdays is ok and there is a wide selection of foods. Kitchen staff works fast and try to accommodate the guests. No gym or pool. But restaurant is nice and they had bingo night which we enjoyed tremendously. My Diamond status was recognized and I was upgraded as well as given 2 free drinks. Ferry is 1...

We arrived at the hotel and got a great welcome and check into the room, the room was very warm and tried and managed to put the air con on but didnt seem to work.
Next morning we got up for breakfast to where i can only describe this is ridiculous, no plates no cutlery no trays and guess what no food. Even more so they decided to take the toaster off at 9:30am everyday when its packed with people, it was like a pa...

To be honest, I dont why the hotel ranking is not high, as both my wife and I had a nice stay for two days there and we felt the overall facility and service are good.
