Got a room that was still being renovated (not fully furnished room - missing furniture, trashbins and lights, with severe noise issues). Upon going to the reception no solution was offered since they were overbooked. Also no refund was issued afterwards with absolutely unfriendly responses claiming this to be a preference issue. Too far from everything

When someone says it's far from the city center they are not lying. Would have saved money by just picking a hotel closer to everything, now we used a lot of Uber, though that is a personal choise by not wanting to always walk to the bus stop.
Metal on the bathtub drain was partly loose and my partner got a cut from it. Water pressure is also kinda slow, could be a Netherland thing.

Based on the photos published online, I was expecting a much better hotel. Instead, I arrived at what I would describe as an average property.
One of the elevators was out of service, causing significant inconvenience. On top of that, nobody seemed able to find the stairs. Staying on the first floor, I often had to wait for numerous guests using the only working elevator.

One of the worst hotel experiences we have ever had.
We paid 1247.48 EUR for a supposed 4-star stay at Hotel Artemis Amsterdam. Instead, we arrived to ongoing construction work directly outside our room, heavy dust, dirty floors, a broken safe, and an extra bed that looked more like a military field bed than proper hotel accommodation.

Booked a standard room, pretty used/outdated furniture. Coffee machine looked too shabby for to use, shower has seen its best days. Overall I thought, for the price expected a little more but ok. Next morning was the worst, after turning on the shower there was a strange strong sour smell coming from the drain. The sink was also practically clogged. Sadly had no time to report it in the morning before heading out. Wh...
