Disappointing Service and Poor Attention to Guests

Unfortunately, our stay at Hotel De Hallen in Amsterdam was disappointing overall.
The rooms themselves are generally okay, but there were several issues that negatively affected our experience. The beds were not made during our stay, and although we were promised fresh towels immediately upon request, they only arrived around 1:00 AM, when we were already asleep and had already showered without them.

Nice hotel, decent location. Friendly staff and immaculately clean. Food hall behind is easy place to go for snacks.
Not had a room without a fridge for many years so bit dissapointed there. Also would expect more than one small pillow each. Shame a double bed is just 2 singles pushed together with 2 single duvets. Decent size though and we were at the far end away from reception so it was lovely and peaceful. ...

The hotel is located just 3 minutes on foot from a tram stop and in roughly 10 minutes you're in Leidseplein. Nearby you can find many spots to shop and eat: there's everything you need.

This hotel was excellent. Location very close to main tram lines, 3 minutes walk to big food hall, very quiet and an extremely friendly staff....

Lovely quirky hotel . Lovely breakfast which included hot food aswel . Rooms very comfortable and so was bed . Very quiet rooms , with tea coffee facilities. Everything you needed in a room . We had 4 lovely nights there . Tram stop a few minutes walk away to central station , where you can visit all local sights ...
