My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights, so that we could have a museum day of visits before heading home. Great location on a quiet street, yet close to what we came to see. We loved the happy hour treats and a lovely breakfast. Staff was quite helpful with check-in, check-out, recommendations for dinner, etc. We would definitely stay there again....

We loved our stay at the Jan Luyken Hotel. Perfectly situated for the Museum Quarter, the hotel is welcoming and just a little bit different. There are drinks available all day long (hot, cold, alcoholic and non-alcoholic), fresh fruit and pastries. Cheese, crackers, olives etc. are available from 4-7 pm. And its all included in the price of your room. Breakfast is continental but theres plenty of it. Our room was ...

Perfect Location for Museum District and More

There are many good points for staying at the Jan Luyken Amsterdam. The location in a residential street next to the Museumplein is just a block over from Moco (contemporary art), Stedelijk (modern art), and Van Gogh Museums; and just a 5 min walk to the Rijksmuseum. Its a block over from a street (PC Hooftstraat) with ritzy shopping if you like that sort of thing.

Boutique Hotel in Great Location

Lovely boutique hotel one block from museum district and right around the corner from amazing shopping. We walked all over Amsterdam from this location and had an amazing time. Our room was small and very comfortable. The use of a multitude of warm colors made it very cozy. Breakfast in the morning was plentiful, and the evening bar assortment was lovely. Sherina was warm and friendly and made everyone feel at home....
