The staff were super friendly and really helpful. Rooms were clean and cozy. The noise levels were the only downside; our room was beside the door to the stairways for other rooms, and this would slam shut. The location was excellent, based on a lovely street and very close to the main tourist attractions and Amsterdam Central Station....

Great location. Attractive building. Our party of four made the mistake of booking two small doubles, which really are only suitable as singles. Tiny bathrooms come with limited amenities. Buffet breakfast has few options....

My sister and I spent three days in Amsterdam and highly recommend the Max Brown hotel in the canal district. Well never stay anywhere else when we visit. The location was absolutely perfect, both as a home base for wandering around Jordaan and the canal district and beyond but also for getting to and from the train station quickly. Perfect location for this quirky hotel

Me and my 15 year old daughter had our first stay here. Check in was smooth and quick with a complimentary welcome drink. Our room was in the third floor. Not ideal for those who struggle with stairs especially steep and winding with your luggage. We managed ok though and this didnt put us off.
