Stayed for 2 nights, 2 couples in December. Its in a perfect location, right on Rembrandt Plein, which was hosting an ice rink and a few Christmas stalls. Everything is in walking distance, central station is about 20 mins walk. The main shops are 5 mins away.
There are lots of bars and restaurants around.
We opted for a room at the back of the hotel as it is a lovely but lively area.

Stayed at the hotel for a second time recently, I cant imagine staying anywhere else in Amsterdam now. Great hotel, beautiful reception area, lovely staff. Location is perfect but being right in the middle of Rembrandt Square it is noisy until about 4am but that was not really an issue for us. We knew it would be loud due to the area, the hotel also kindly supply ear plugs in the room....

We stayed for three nights in early October. We chose this hotel for it's location and for the positive reviews here on TripAdvisor. We were very happy with our choice.
