We liked the Barbizone palace and would definitely go back. After walking off the Eurostar and a short walk over the river of around 5 mins we was in the hotel. It was very clean and well maintained. As your close to the station, your also near the tram station. Which made getting around easy and cheap. If you visit Amsterdam its a great bass to visit the city...

What I liked most about the hotel was how effortless and pleasant the whole stay felt. The staff were genuinely smooth, warm, and attentive from the moment we arrived. As a GHA Titanium member, I really appreciated how well the recognition was handled we received a proper room upgrade, early check-in, and late check-out at 4 PM, all delivered without any fuss. It made the trip feel much more relaxed.

Overall this hotel is a 3 star hotel.
Small rooms in an overcrowded hotel with more than 400 rooms.
Poor sleep quality with very hard beds and noisy surroundings.
Breakfast is a scum with lacking food and space ( waiting lines)
Nh used to have wonderful hotels and now is no longer an option....

I had the pleasure of staying at the NH Collection Amsterdam Barbizon Palace a few months ago, and overall it was an excellent experience. Upon arrival, we did encounter a few small issues with our initial room. However, this was handled swiftly and professionally by Pim at the front desk, who deserves special mention. Everything about this hotel was perfect from start to finish. The Concierge gave me a warm welcome and Claire at Reception handled my check-in smoothly.
The room was spacious and immaculately clean, equipped with all the essentials including a well-stocked minibar. Id chosen a room with a view and it offered a stunning panorama of Amsterdam Centraal Station.
