I stayed for 7 nights at NH Collection Amsterdam Barbizon Palace and had an exceptional experience thanks to Oscar, Claire, and Donna. Throughout my stay, they went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect.

Great hotel

Great hotel we had an amazing time and staff were great only reason we weren't very happy was they was scaffolding outside our room which was loud and we were not told this prior and it kind of made us stay out of the hotel as much as possible and distracted us from the lovely canal view....

Excellent view & Excellent breakfast

As we were a loyal customer, they upgraded our room. The room was large with grand view. We can see the Amsterdam Centraal station & the canal in front of it. That's marvelous.
Their breakfast was excellent with abundant choice of delicious & nutritious items. We loved their Egg Benedict & Shashouka the most. Besides they provide us wonderful tea like Darjeeling etc....

Three nights spa break with no spa

Lovely hotel fabulous staff great food especially breakfast but very disappointed to have booked and paid for 5star hotel spa experience for the three nights and the spa was closed! Hate looking forward to spa weekend and it not open for the three days we were there. Complained to staff that we were not getting what we paid for and they gave us free breakfast!!!!...

The hotel is located 5 min from Amsterdam Train station and on the door step of the Amsterdam tourist area. As a location goes it is excellent. I stayed in the room called Superior Single. It is a very small room with a single bed. The buffet breakfast has a good selection of western style food (scrambled eggs, bacon, cereals, pastries, cheeses etc).
