Do yourself a favor and do a Google Street View of this property before booking. The photos shared by the property are VERY flattering. The front door is flanked by plastic dumpsters, there is a XXX shop down the street...you're basically half a block away from Athens' version of the SF Tenderloin. The hotel staff literally told us not to walk north if we exited the hotel. Rooms were big, but ours was dusty, towels h...

The quick and well before check in time
Check-in time was the foretelling of an excellent stay. They checked us in at 10:00am. The room was a nice size and had a great view. The shower was my favorite part. There were jets galore ensuring all and every inch is clean. The restaurant was delightful, inexpensive and had excellent food....

The description of this hotel very much overstates its qualities in our view. Underneath a little bit of gloss, it is a fairly basic, utilitarian hotel in a run down area of Athens. Staff however were generally very helpful and welcoming. However the public and reception areas are small and not impressive.
