Stay Away from This Hotel with the charm of the late 1970!

We booked a five star plus cruise on Regent and we were accommodated at this wanna be 4 star big Hotel. Like us many other passengers / guests complained about the ugly small rooms with a wired smell and sight onto the industrial back yard. The front desk was very unfriendly to cooperate....

Not a 5-Star Experience Very Disappointing Service
We chose this hotel expecting a genuine 5-star experience, but unfortunately it failed to meet even some basic standards of hospitality.

My wife and myself were amongst 160 passengers on a Tui flight from London Gatwick to Skiathos that, literally minutes before landing, ran into a serious Thundery and was diverted to nearby (30 mins flying time away) Athens.
Due to an added technical issue, we all had to stay overnight in Athens and were most fortunate to be accommodated at the Divani Caravel Hotel - at one stage this must have been one of the city...
