Stayed here as part of a tour. We found it to be a very good hotel. Rooms were reasonably large with comfortable beds. Our room had outdoor seating as well. It has a small but nice pool area, and the rooftop restaurant serves good food with an excellent view of the Acropolis....

We stayed one night and it was a bit disappointing, especially for the price.
Main lobby is really pretty and spacious. The pool is quaint and a nice oasis but could use a few more chairs (there is room). It was confusing if someone was going to serve you drinks straight to the pool - the bar is right inside and it seemed like sometimes someone would come around but not always? Our room was really disappointing, but the rest of the hotel was pretty good.
We went for the cheapest level of room, and I assume the rooms at the higher levels are a huge step up. But our room was nowhere near 5 star hotel level. Nowhere. It had:
- very old decor (seemed like 20+ years old). Old wallpaper, curtains. Musty smell.
- shower in the bathtub. The outpipe was partially blocked so the bath slowly filled...

Great location. Conveniently located below the Acropolis. Stunning view of the Parthenon from the roof top bar.
However the staff is who makes it special. Loukas at the front desk was great along with the breakfast manager.
But above all the BELLMEN, Mr. Mike in the AM and Alexandros on the PM shift. This is tapping into knowledge of hot spots, transportation and best places to eat. THANK YOU BOTH. You made our ...

The room did not reflect what I saw and booked on the Hotel's website. The room was very gloomy. Some of the pictures on the website are deceiving. The Hotel staff was not understanding and refused to consider issuing a refund as I needed to leave 3 days earlier and the room was fully paid in advance. i tried to speak to the management, but everyone refused....
