Im currently staying at The Electra Metropolis, its in a central location with great, attentive staff, and is spotlessly clean. There are enough sunbeds by the rooftop pool, along with amazing views over to the Acropolis, especially at night when it is lit up.
The rooms are well maintained by the lovely housekeeping staff, and nothing is too much trouble.

We enjoyed this hotel. The rooms are very nice by the standards of what you often find in Greece, the service was fantastic, and the location is great. Most of the major sites are in easy walking distance. And the view of the Acropolis at breakfast and dinner is very special.
Some criticisms: the elevators are small and lead to awkward situations. Thats not especially unique in Europe. I didnt think the dinner ...

Just returned from a family trip to Greece. Spend several nights in Athens at the Electra Metropolis.
Beautiful hotel in a great location.
Excellent service. Would recommend without reservation and would return for another stay when back in Athens....

I was recommended this hotel by two friends in Australia, who are Greek. We stayed at this hotel for two nights
The location is amazing close to all the tourist spots in Athens. However..
It cost us AU$800 per night

Location is central and walkable. Food is good on rooftop and in lobby burger bar. Rooftop pool closing at 7pm I have no idea why this is necessary and cannot be open later in summer but its small and seating is limited at pool. The biggest issue is that rooms arent soundproof; dogs barking, horns honking, you hear everything from the street or at least from my room. Staff were very responsive but had no comparable...
