Great location and a solid hotel

I stayed in room 327. It was a good size and very comfortable. The hotel's location is very central and convenient. The rooftop bar has a great view of the Acropolis, and is a great breakfast place. The breakfast buffet was excellent - some tasty options....

The Electra Group, long time Greek hotel operators, are known for clean, comfortable, stylish rooms with great bedding, fabulous breakfasts, and great locations. The Metropolis is a modern luxury sleek version. Every visit, we appreciate the conversion from ugly to fabulous,
as we remember the "before" and love the "after"

Far from a true five-star experience.
We stayed at the Electra Metropolis in Athens, and to say we were disappointed would be an understatement. For a hotel claiming five stars and charging accordingly the experience was shockingly underwhelming.

My daughter and I loved Athens more than other friends that have visited, and I think it's because of where we stayed. From the time we stepped out of our cab to our last cocktail in the rooftop bar we experienced nothing but the famed Greek hospitality. What an incredible hotel, from the charming and friendly check-in with the concierge to the lovely staff at breakfast and in the bar. The views are incredible, the service impeccable. A great location too within walking distance from a number of the key sites. Would not hesitate to recommend this hotel...
