Modern boutique hotel. Excellent central location within walking distance to most of the main sites in the city including The Acropolis (15 min), Monastiraki Square (8 min), Syntagma Square and the Greek Parliament Building (4 min) and the Acropolis Museum (13 min). A great location with plenty of restaurants nearby. The hotel feels like a mix between a hotel and apartments. The room was lovely and we had a small balcony overlooking the street which I liked. I liked the modern feel of the hotel and the staff were friendly and keen to help. The only slight downside for me was the breakfast, which was continental and delivered to your room. I booked the 2 bedroom Metropolic Suites at Met34. Even prior to our arrival, the staff was very welcoming and helpful. The staff work to make the visit very personalized, helpful with any of our needs. It is very secure as well, but just mere steps from the trendy restaurants and shopping streets. My wife and I had an amazing three days in Athens, and MET34 was our delightfully comfortable, convenient home base there. It's a quiet set of seven suites starting on the second floor; ours had a full-blown kitchen and a balcony right over bustling Mitropoleos Street (even though the main entrance is on the other side of the building). We booked a two bedroom suite and enjoyed it - newer room and very clean. The primary had the larger en suite bathroom and a balcony. The second bedroom used the smaller bathroom off the living room/kitchen area. The pull out was in the living room. Id stay here again with a group.
