We had a great experience during our stay. The staff was very helpful , courteous and provided wonderful customer service. They were very welcoming and guided us when needed.

Recommended by friends, with a great central location, comfortable room, rooftop bar, and friendly staff. A short walk to shopping and a variety of good restaurants, as well as the lively mercado, Mercat de La Boqueria....

The hotel is elegant, pleasant, and beautiful. The service was very professional, polite, and friendly. The location is really good. Our rooms were spacious and clean. All the staff were welcoming and friendly especially Iker on Reception who provided us outstanding customer service. He was extremely knowledgeable, helpful and always willing to help us with anything...

Hotel 1898 is our favorite hotel in all of Barcelona! The atmosphere as soon as you enter makes you want to stay for a week! It has a lovely lounge / bar area and live music, as well as a beautiful spa area. We Love it, and will always stay there when possible!...

Great hotel with great service! Surprised by the beauty of my privilege room with three patio doors unto a large private patio with private pool! What a surprise. Loved our stay! Highly recommended!...
