We have stayed at Hotel 1898 in the past and returned in November for a 3 night stay before a cruise. Unfortunately, a medical emergency forced us to cancel the cruise and resulted in an extended hospital stay. Our 3 night stay turned into a 3 week stay. My wife and I recently spent three nights at Hotel 1898. We greatly appreciated the staff, loved the breakfast, had a good dinner in the restaurant and loved the beauty of the hotel as well as its convenient location. We highly recommend this hotel....

We had a great experience during our stay. The staff was very helpful , courteous and provided wonderful customer service. They were very welcoming and guided us when needed.

Recommended by friends, with a great central location, comfortable room, rooftop bar, and friendly staff. A short walk to shopping and a variety of good restaurants, as well as the lively mercado, Mercat de La Boqueria....
