Hotel location is ideal in that it is close to the city center but not right in the busy part! Its only a short walk to the old city center, and it is very convenient to two different tram stops that will get you anywhere you need to be. Room was nice although I think we had an accessible style room because the shower was contiguous with the floor of the bathroom. Caused a bit of overflow but not serious. We did...

We were 3 couples traveling from Miami and we chose the hotel thru Amex FHR and it was an amazing stay.
Room dining and venue was wonderful. What made our stay even more gracious was the help and thoughtfulness of Octavio its amazing concierge.
All thru out our stay and even before he was a wonderful help and so pleasant to work with, nothing was too much.

The amenities were very good, clean and comfortable - no complaints. We just had to wait at the lobby for our room for about half an hour as it was still being cleaned, otherwise I would give this hotel a 5....

My title of 4 1/2 out of 5 says it all. Helpful friendly staff, spotlessly clean hotel, in a reasonable location on edge of old town and 5 min walk from the airport tram into Meriadeck; however we paid normal 5* city break hotel prices in Europe, for an executive room, which for a 5* hotel just seemed like a standard room to me, both in terms of space and furnishings, all fine but nothing special. Firstly the breakfasts are poor. Reading previous reviews about good breakfasts astounds me. It is definitely not a 5 star experience and the hotel should not be advertised as 5 star either. Breakfast is served not in a room but in a sprawling space which means when you arrive there is no one to greet you.
