Expensive and basic hotel in good location

The hotel was great for location and the breakfast was good. The room was clean. The decor was awful. Purple walls with a nice big crack going down it. The reception was very dark, much darker looking than the pictures on here indicate.
If you are after a totally basic hotel that still costs a lot of money then this is for you. I personally wouldnt return....

Convenient, but felt like a budget hotel and not exactly best value.

Good central location. Excellent breakfast. As is often the case, public areas are of a much higher standard than the rest of the hotel. We were in a double delux room which was a bit on the small side.
The bathroom looked new and was adequately equipped.
Disappointed that there was no tea and coffee making in the room. I would have needed to upgrade to qualify for a kettle - which seemed a bit mean.

The only things worth are the buffet and location. It has all the basic products needed for a full breakfast. It's easy to reach, near to a lot of cafeterias, shops and restaurants. The lobby is modern. Employees don't speak sufficient english and they are rude. The room is not clean enough. There isn't a fridge and the door frames are damaged. 4 nights 5 days stay without hot water. Without a notification,no apology,no solution,no compensation.. Rude staff,dirty rooms,old hotel. Prices Extremely high for a chicken coop like this. I think that this hotel still exists only because of the spot,so close to Grande Place....

The location is really good and thats why we chose the hotel. Plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby. It was really near Delirium Village and on Saturday night there were definitely more people out late but it wasnt so noisy that it stopped us from sleeping. The hotel lobby was modern.
