I booked this one night stay on a bit of a whim, so given it is christmas market season options were limited and expensive.
I booked this hotel based on my wonderful experiences of other NH hotels across Europe.
I went with already lowered expectations after reading various reviews, and I must say I now agree with them all.
Staff were lovely, and breakfast was good enough with lots of options.

Run down dirty hotel room

The rooms are run down and smell of cigarettes (I even had to change rooms once). All the noise from the corridor comes straight into the room, and the windowslike the rest of the roomare dirty. Charging 590 per night for this is ridiculous. My expectations were completely different from the reality....

The only thing worth mentioning about this hotel is its location in the center of Brussels.
The lounge in the waiting area is poor and not very comfortable.
Breakfast is fine but but nothing special.
Welcome kit in the room is practically non-existent.
Poor lighting system in the room.
Bathroom with bathtub/shower (who wants to take a bath on a business trip or on vacation??) difficult and dangerous to get into a...

Really nice Hotel, in a great central location. Room was clean and spacious. Very comfortable beds. Fairly large selection of choices at the breakfast! Staff were all very friendly....

What a great place close to the square but not too close. The staff were great and answered all my questions. I needed to get the train before breakfast was served so they had the kitchen staff make me a box breakfast to seat on the train. If I get back to Brussels I will stay here,...
