Ideal location, clean, helpful staff

From the moment we arrived we were impressed. One of the staff came out and parked our car for us! In the rain! And the dining staff accommodated is by staying open just a bit longer so we could have some dinner.
The room was perfect; clean, comfortable beds, hot showers. And the location was perfect; it was about a 20 minute walk to all we wanted to do downtown. (In the rain...)...

All 3 receptionists we dealt with were unhelpful off hand to the point of being rude. Having booked a twin room 3 months ago, we were late arriving due to a flight delay and stuck with a small double. Despite repeated reassurances from different staff members (who didnt seem to communicate with each other) it was a real battle to get the room wed booked. Breakfast was basis but adequate. Perfect location - close both to the walk path and to the historical places. Very calm place. Breakfasts were super! Friendly staff ready to solve any problem.
But: beds are not very comfortable, solid and narrow, the same for blankets. Also showers water changes temperature randomly from almost boiling to almost icy each 5 minutes, no option to adjust and keep....

We stayed at the hotel, the receptionist (Carmen) had a bad and disrespectful attitude, the cleanliness of the rooms was bad, they didn't change the sheets and didn't give us towels, we had a bad experience from the hotel, a very bad hotel, be careful....

Great place for business trips. The location is great, right next to Victoriei Street. The hotel and the rooms are very clean, with good attention at details. The breakfast is very good, but there can be some little improvements. Rooms are also quite. Great value for money ...
