30 mins from airport, small hotel overlooking pebble beach (sand shoes required due to sea urchins), this small hotel delivers a quiet ambiance, rooms are dated and small but the area is well worth it. The hotel is very noisy, we heard our neighbors snoring and talking. We had a small room that used to be a single room. The room was old and badly maintained.
Our room was on the first floor, there was a strong smell from the kitchen, it smelled like frying fat. We also had this smell in our room, that's nasty. We also missed a minibar in the room.

We stayed here for a week at the end of October. The location was great, 2 minutes walk from the beach, 2 minutes walk to the bus stop which takes you into the old town, although we always walked to and from the old town, it took us about 50 minutes each way.
The hotel itself is fine, slightly outdated and quite basic, there was no kettle or fridge in the room which most hotels have. The room was very clean though,...

This is a quite lovely hotel actually! It's a bit outdated but in a sort of friendly and unobtrusive way... The rooms are decent, the cleaning service spotless. The pool area is nice but the pool quite chilly in October. The views from our "semi sea view" balcony were outstanding and it's a quick 2 minute walk down to the beach.

Travelled to Lapad Bay in October as a solo traveller. This hotel is safe, friendly, comfortable and in a great location. Its 2 minutes from the bus to the old town, and same to the beautiful beach and promenade walk. There are ritzier, more modern hotels, but if youre exploring the area, this one is in a great place to base yourself. If you want a big pool to sit around all day, its probably not for you.
