Great boutique hotel in the heart of Firenza.

The hotel was very well located. The food in the area was very good. Breakfast was plentiful. But the best part was the relationship established with managers Diego and Massimo. They were extremely friendly and helpful, as this was our first time in Florence (Firenza)....

Tarpaulin Towers

We drove straight past the Hotel upon arrival since its entire facade was covered in dust sheets and was hidden from view. We called the Hotel Tarpaulin Towers. The building work did not disturb us.
Not a lot of soundproofing from neighbouring rooms.
Very comfortable bed; the sheets seemed to be thin and not quite fit the bed.
The television offered a couple of English speaking channels.

Hotel is situated in the heart of Florence. It has a warm atmosphere with friendly and helpful front desk staff. The rooms were a descent size and were very clean. The room however was cold, but had no heating. There was scaffolding outside our window that obstructed our view of the city. It had a descent breakfast with good service. Hotel was situated in a good location. walking distance to many things....

This Boutique Hotel was Excellent!! Changed our Room as soon as they saw we could not do a lot of stairs.. it has an Elevator.. but not to all floors.. room very clean.. Front Desk made Reservations for us.. helped in any way they could..Breakfast also excellent.. great variety..plus the Staff so friendly & helpful!!! Close to Restaurants.. coffee shops .. bank & shopping.

There are positives and negatives to this hotel, unfortunately they are both extreme.
The pluses are the location, very close to the station and tourist attractions. The breakfast is very good, a good selection.
The negatives are that the rooms haven't been decorated for decades. The lift is unbelievable, it's mechanism is so noisy and constantly in use at all hours, it's very difficult to get any sleep. As the hotel...
