This review is being written while were still at hotel.
The good: The hotel is an easy walk from the train station and the Central Market. The staff are friendly and try to help. The bathroom is updated with good cold and hot water pressure.
The bad: the first floor family room they gave us was horrible. The mini fridge did not work. One of the flush buttons did not work. The AC was terrible/did not work. ...

This was an easy walk from Santa Maria Novella station.
The room was on the third floor, quite spacious, bathroom was a good size but nowhere to put our things and it had a shower curtain over the bath, not ideal.
The room itself was good, it also had a sofa, the bed was really hard, no street noise even though we were right next to the markets.
Breakfast was a bit ordinary, the staff seemed like they weren't traine...

The hotel has a great central location, making it easy to walk to major attractions. The rooms are nice, the showers are excellent, and the staff is friendly. However, the biggest issue is the air conditioning, which doesn't work properly. Despite the staff's attempts to fix it, the problem persisted. The location is what sells this hotel. A 7 minute walk from the train station; 30 seconds to the Lorenzo street markets, 10 minutes to the Duomo and 15 to the Ponto Vecchio. Staff are friendly and helpful especially the young lads on reception. Our room bore no resemblance to the picture on the web. It was spartan to say the least and the window and shutters were locked shut. No tea or coffee facilities which we bad...

Lovely stay, very helpful staff, clean and comfortable room. Aircon good, and great location. Train station close by, parking is at extra cost and they collect and deliver your car, reasonable price and convient as parking at train station is 3.80 an hour! Reception/Concierge was really helpful.
RODO Terraza was a great find....
