This hotel is a gem !

We have just spent a week at the cosimo de medici hotel and we're very happy with our stay. The staff are all polite, helpful and friendly. The location is ideal, a few minutes walk from the train station and close to all the sites of Florence. The hotel is spotlessly clean. Our room was serviced daily with clean bedding and towels. The bathroom was again spotless with a great shower.

Ideal place to visit so many attractions in Florence and close to the train station. The staff were very friendly and always helpful, they even spoke English which was a big help as we spoke very little Italian. The room was spacious and very clean. the bathroom was a little small but still useable.
We would definitely stay there again and highly recommend to others....

Central florence hotel just 4 minutes to the train station and 5 minutes to Duomo. It's located on a busy street but in a private courtyard, its safe, secure and very quiet inside. Breakfast was okay- there could be a little more choice on the hot items but perfectly good for 3 star restaurant. Our room had a lovely big bathroom with a powerful hot shower. Was an old hotel but lovely..very comfortable, clean, bed was comfortable. Had a big window overlooking a wonderful gazebo garden.....No kettle in room but was access to a kettle in dining room...we only stayed 1 night but as we left before breakfast they gave us a wonderful bag of breakfast items with Fruit, breakfast snacks plus fruit and yoghurt...wonderful staff..in the old part of town..close to the railway stat...

A great choice near SMN train station

I needed a hotel with an elevator and near the SMN train station. Hotel Cosimo de Medici was perfect. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The room was large and clean, with a large modern bathroom (shower only). The breakfast room was pleasant, with a nice selection of items. A restaurant recommendation led to a memorable meal.
